So, Warren's sisters Jenny and Amy and her son Dom are a pretty HUGE part of our lives and I wanted to post some pics of them. There is one of these pictures that captures Dom's personality PERFECTLY but I will let you guess which one.
Dom has a TON of energy from the time he rolls out of bed until he is forced to go to bed. Amy has her work cut out for her but I am sure it is so worth it for her when he flashes those sweet dimples.
Amy is ... well ... never afraid to give her opinion and thinks I have lost my mind 99% of the time. lol. She is currently looking for a job so if ya know anybody who is hiring give a girl a holla! She is usually pretty easy to get along with and my kids LOVE their Auntie Amy!
Jenny is hilarious. She loves either playing with or yelling at the kids. She is a huge help around the house and her favorite pass time is to hide things from everybody which is cool except when she does not remember where she put it. She just got some glasses and they are so CUTE on her and she loves them! We just love her to death!
About Me

I am married to a wonderfull fella that works his rear off to make sure I can stay home with our kids! We have one "Cowboy" who is all about horses, cowboy hats and ropes. Our latest and last addition, "Ladybug" is perfectly unique. It is amazing how much we have learned from her!

Ladybug's Latest
Well, Ladybug finally had her cleft repaired and I am so hoping she never has to do that again!! The surgery went well but she was inconsolably crying for hours. Her crying kept the inside of her mouth inflamed so she ended up in ICU because she was having a hard time breathing. They gave her a steroid shot and took off her arm restraints and she was sleeping like an angel when I was able to go in and see her.
As you can see in the pictures she is now doing fine. As long as we keep everything out of her mouth and she does not root a hole in her pallet with her tongue, there should not be any more cleft surgeries.
The first pic I posted showes a little bit of her arm restraints. She has to wear them for 2 - 3 weeks. So....let me just tell you, Ladybug is NOT a fan of being restrained. She is so my daughter!
Anyway, thanks to everyone who was praying for her! She is doing great!

K4
For those of you who do not know my brother and his wife, they are two of the most amazing parents/people ever! I am sure I am partial but I think my brother should write a book on how to treat women of all ages. He is in a house full of girls. Even the dog, Maggie, is a girl.
Cowboy's First Day of School
Yea!! Cowboy loves school. Yea! I love him being in school! He goes from 9 - 2 on Tuesday and Thursday and his teacher, Ms. Cameron, seems super sweet. They already had a show and tell and I guess I had a huge brain toot because he got to take his hammer. The other kids did no have any noticable bumps on their heads when we picked Cowboy up so I guess it went okay. Whew.
He is becoming such a little man and loves doing things BY HIMSELF. He is always telling me he "has muscles and can do it myself". I am sure one day I will appreciate that. Goodness alive, I love that boy!

playing at the playground after schoolMercy, Mercy our Busy Ladybug
So, Ladybug is by far the busiest person in our house! She has taught me to have more patience than I ever cared to have!!
Nothin' but love!
She did have her eye surgery and they were able to do everything except put the tubes in her tear ducts. We have an appointment on the 28th with an Ophthalmologist/plastic surgeon that we were referred to at Children's and he will hopefully be able to schedule her tear duct procedure.
Dr. Genecov is going to go ahead and repair her cleft pallet on the 17th so that will be good. That will will help with speech and her eating so I am excited to get that done.
She is seeing Rivkah in Tyler twice a week for Occupational Therapy and she had her first Physical Therapy session yesterday with Cyndi, who works with Rivkah. I get really excited about those appointments because those ladies really know what they are doing and seeing them twice a week will really help Ladybug. They are just so good with her! She has gotten great at lifting her head and keeping it up which was a huge issue before. She has been doing so much more thanks to her OT!!
Anyway, she is just about the sweetest thing around and we would not change a hair on her sweet little head. She is such a blessing and has this way of just lighting up your day with one little smile. She is just amazing!
Nothin' but love!
